The longer I stay on this site, the more I realize I will never be able to say I have seen it all in the automotive world. A nice video of this vehicle being ridden would really ice the cake.
Yes, I look at things like this and realize just how puny my imagination really is. Just not enough hallucinogenics in my diet I guess.
And the beauty is, this is not photo-shopped.
I find this extremely, viscerally creepy. I think because it triggered a memory of those news stories about the mysterious shod feet washing up on beaches around Vancouver. Please, please tell me this photo was not shot in Vancouver.

It doesn’t look like much care was taken to alternate left and right shoes. Shoddy workmanship 🙂
Someone clearly has WAAAY too much time on their hands!

Me too! I didn’t make the connection with the situation in Vancouver, but there’s something fundamentally WRONG with that picture.
Maybe if they had managed to make it with obviously mannequin style legs, it would be less disturbing.
ick.
These tires have a pretty wide footprint. When I was a kid, I remember ads for Uniroyal Tiger Paws. I hope they were not anything like these.
– “Where are the brakes?”
– “You’ll have to Flintstone it.”
ReSoling those ‘tires’ must be quite dirty work.
Oh no! So many people lost their feet for this abomination! Did the creator wind up at the gallows later?
“Come Watson, the game’s afoot! To the velocipede!”
This is clearly owned by a woman. Just look at the amount of shoes on it!
Although the custom orthotics went a long way toward improving the ride, it still handled like a sack of wet hammers..
