Remember the J.C. Whitney CRX from last month? Well, I found another one. Happily, though, this one did not have $1,200 worth of aftermarket ABS plastic on it.
Though it’s hard to tell from the pictures, this one was an HF (for High Fuel efficiency) model. As it turned onto 2nd Avenue, I noticed a fair bit of rust on the flanks, but still not too bad for a 20-odd-years-old Honda in Northwest Illinois.
Quick, put it in a museum before the “Fast and Furious” crowd gets ahold of it! 😛
Yeah, I agree with Dan…SO sick of the wanna be gangstas and their BEAT Honda’s around here…get a clue….
You know what I noticed first? The STS. Then the Monte Carlo. Theres a Buick and a Saturn too. Oh yeah, and a CRX.
Us Midwesterners are still big GM fans!
I have to look at @$%(#* Nissans here in NC (Nissan Club?)
Thanks Carmnine, I thought I was the only one who noticed the same cars first.
What’s the huge-arsed blue-green car in the centre? I think I like its rear better than the CRX.
Failed to read CARMINE’s comment above. 🙁
Its a Cadillac STS. I like Art&Science taillights.
Wow…I was thinking literally the opposite! I’ll never get used to the “European” license plate opening — it reminds me of someone grinning who only has their two front teeth left
I always thought the ’88-’91 CRX was the best looking Honda they ever made, speshully from the rear.
The CC Effect..
I just had to run out for more moving boxes and trash bags. What did I spot in a garage across from the Menards? A two tone Blue and Grey CRX.
I had a reverse CC Effect about two weeks ago. I was headed into the downtown branch of the Rock Island library and a white ’86-’88 Integra was parked up the block. JPC’s CC subject was in much nicer shape though.
