Well, most of all, I’m just thankful to be alive and healthy. And for my family and friends. But when I encounter curbside scenes like this, I am thankful to be able to live in a place where old cars are appreciated and still used. This brings a smile to my face. And what’s better than that?
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you; and don’t forget to count your blessings, even if you don’t encounter scenes like this in your town. There’s always other things to smile about.
Well said Paul. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone else here!
And I’m thankful to CC for providing a few minutes of stress-free entertainment daily!
Simple and to the point, Paul! Im thankful for all of the above as well as good ole CC. Good people here, and my daily dose of gearhead geekery while fighting boredom at work!
Regarding the pic, Im torn between the Ram 50 and the Squareback. Both have a lot of appeal!
Yup, healthy family, some good times along the way, like CCs.
Happy Thanksgiving all.
Happy Thanksgiving from the UK
What a nice scene and Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Nicely put Paul, and enjoy your Thaksgiving weekend everyone.
My thanks especially to the CCer who mentioned the Bond car exhibit at the Film Museum in London. Were it not for CC, I most likely would not have known about it while here for a visit. Will try to post another pic of the Cougar. Paul, thanks for your great work in running a site that brings so many people together from around the world.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my CC friends. In addition to the healthy and safe family, I am thankful for those in my area who get their old cars out into circulation for me (and Jim Grey, I suppose 🙂 ) to share with you.
Happy Thanksgiving from coast to coast and all over the planet!
and I’ll take the American Iron for a different driving experience.
We don’t have Thanksgiving Day in New Zealand, but all the best to those who do! I’m thankful to Paul for creating Curbside Classic; enjoy your day Paul!
C.C. and it’s wonderful Authors and reply posters is just one of the many things I have to be thankful for .
Having suffered working on two Dodge D50 / Mitsubishi crappo mini pickups , I’ll take the old VW Typ III , Bosch D – jetronic fuel injection and all , FAR easier to keep running *perfectly* .
This is a nice photo and yes , here in The Pacific Northwet there are SCADS of nice old vehicles being used daily as they should be .
We got a break in the rain on Turkey Day , then it started again last night , near biblical downpours .
*VERY* thankful I don’t have only a Motocycle as sole transport anymore ! .
