That’s a great clip! And the jeep has stood the test of time. Mind you they have had their share of struggles through the years but the name still stands, in large part to its war legacy.

This Jeep was in the Chrysler museum in Auburn Hills. Last fall, FCA announced the museum was to be closed forever in December and converted to office space. I took advantage of the opportunity when helping set up the black tie gala for the warbird museum near my home, to mention to the director of the museum that this Jeep and a couple other artifacts from the Chrysler museum would be nice additions to their “arsenal of democracy” exhibit they are working on. That would be a better place for it than as a lobby decoration in an FCA factory somewhere, or moldering in a warehouse.
