Here’s our vintage snapshot gift for today: a neat bathtub Nash with a Christmas tree included. Even if the Nash doesn’t do it for you, the tree has to count for something, right?
From CC, we wish you all a Happy Holiday season and a great New Year. As is our tradition, we’ll take a break from new posting (except for the COAL series) and feature CC’s Best Of 2023 reruns between Christmas and New Year’s.
Thanks to all for making this another successful year at CC. See you (or read you) in 2024!
Here’s my tender take on Christmas from 1948.
And Merry Christmas to you all. As you look at the attached, think of ALL that you see in this capsule of Americana.
Is this a relatively modern staged picture? I don’t remember garden mulch until the 70s or 80s and it looks like a plastic contractor’s garbage bag to the left of the car.
Yeah, I was thinking the same. The heavy windowframes on the house look modern, and I see a bungee strap holding the tree on the car. I don’t think they were common until the ’60s.
Merry Christmas to all from the great white north. Though it’s a green Christmas here this year!
Merry Christmas to all. And thanks Paul for such a great site!
Apologies to any early Rambler lovers, but it looks like a giant garden slug in that colour!
Great comment – and very true!
Merry Christmas!
I’ve posted this a few years ago, but it remains my favorite Christmas automotive photo. Casa de Cadillac is a famous Los Angeles landmark.
Merry Christmas to all!
Happy Hanukkah to all my J-Team friends.
Happy whatever to all , not necessarily a religious holiday .

Merry Christmas!
