One of our writers suggested we have a Big Truck Week at CC, and it wasn’t even me. Needless to say, it didn’t take me long to jump aboard, as a one-time truck and bus driver. I have changed the name to Big Rig Week, as I wanted to have a bit more scope for anything bigger than a regular pickup. So you may see anything from 1-ton trucks to many-thousand ton “trucks”. As well as buses, stretch-jobs, big engines; whatever catches our fancy and cameras. I wish I’d have caught these two trucks; nice synchronized driving there.
And if big rigs just aren’t your thing, we’ll try to sprinkle a few small-rig posts around too.
What a great idea ! Roll them out !
Does this count as a big rig ?
Saw this a few days ago on one of my favorite sites.

Looks like a Caprice, but that photo is from outside of North America. They could have at least put a blanket on the roof to protect the paint.

I like the idea of big rig week. My father-in-law used to drive a big rig – we miss him so much since he passed. He met my great-uncle several times, who was also a big rig driver. It amazes me how they handled such a big truck.
We love the “Big Rig Section”. More the Merrier!!
I like this one the best because that’s what we do.

My father used to drive a big rig and made a decent living. For a few years while I was going to school, I drove a bus part-time.
