I think I heard another plea for the return of two-door sedan somewhere in the comments recently. Well, how about going back in time to an E12 BMW 5 Series? The Ultimate Driving Two Door?

It’s nice looking in an over-sized, chopped E21 sort of way, but somewhat redundant since the E9 and E24 coupes overlapped E12 production and are both prettier than this.
I even want a ‘clean’ 4-door sedan like this. If any still exist!
There was an E3 sedan converted to a semi-bobtail coupe out here, the guy used it in motorsport I think as a cheaper alternative to a proper coupe, but given the bodywork I’m not sure
I thought the 6 series was a 5 series coupe?
Looks good only as a 4-door sedan. As the e30 does.
The e12 was a very nimble, sleek and beautiful car whereas the e24 was heavy and bulky, almost as pretty as the e12…I really would have to see that (e12) 2 door sedan in person to give you my final vote… All and all it is a shame that the BMW line today looks nothing like a BMW.
