That’s correct Joe. Back in the days, integral bodies for hauling furniture were often rolling on a bus chassis (hence the letter B).
The full designation and registration of this specific chassis is DAF B1100DA406. Here’s another one, a compact 1964 coach, body by Smit Joure.
