Awsome brooding lineup. Are these trucks lower than normal, or is it just a trick of the photograph? Maybe trucks for European roads can be lower because of better roads?
It’s the usual stance for heavy European on-highway trucks and tractors. On-/off road trucks, built by the same manufacturers, have much more ground clearance.
Saw plenty of these on my recent road trip thru Poland and Czech Rep. They were doing road work in Czech and all were detoured to the narrowest two lane road. The drivers of the trucks didn’t bat an eye. Just kept on moving which scared the hell out of me in my SKODA Fabia Combi rental car.
MAN 8×4 chassis are common here, but only as a truck (dump truck, concrete mixer and such).
Historically, MAN has always had an excellent on-/off-road reputation with their 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 chassis. Both for the civilian and the military market.

Welcome back!
Not unusual trucks in this part of the world, a mate of mine does a truck swap run at night driving M.A.N. 8x4s pulling five axle trailers.

But who are they saving all their kisses for?
