I have a hard time with these. I love the 64-67, and I can handle the 70-72. But for some reason I never liked the 68-69 styling on the Olds a whole lot better than I did on the Buick. And it just doesn’t work that well on the wagon. I’m probably in the minority on this.
And my, that rear wheel arch shape is really off. Perhaps he’s not finished with it.
Well, everyone’s got an opinion, and mine in 1968 was that the Olds was best, followed by the Chevy. Over time the Olds curves have perhaps not aged quite as well, to my eyes, as the Chevy’s angles, but I still like it a lot, especially in wagon form. I’ll rank it #2 ahead of Pontiac, with the Buick a non-starter.
I just checked Google Images. Sorry, but the 1968-69 Olds Vista Cruisers are the best. That is my final judgement. Besides, Eric Forman’s was a 1969. Aztec Gold. 455 V8.
The slogan from the athletic club (or that’s what I assume it is) behind the Oldsmobile is appropriate… blijf gezond, blijf sporten or stay healthy, stay exercising. Well, someone’s keeping their old Olds healthy by exercising it!

Home improvement job first, I guess, as it carried some new boards/shelves in the trunk.

Good work Eric! That’s exactly the link I was hinting at.
Yay! I guess I win today’s Dutch clue award!
Great picture, by the way.
Absolutely, first prize winner!! Unfortunately, since we’re a bunch of misers, there’s no financial or any other gain involved.
