The MAN and VW brands are both in the VW Group – -where’s the line drawn between a VW and MAN light commercial?
The MAN TGE is a rebadged current generation VW Crafter (BTW, not the same as the latest Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model, as they were previously). The TGL is MAN’s smallest own truck series.
Parked behind each other:

In Europe, the Crafter is Volkswagen’s heaviest commercial vehicle.
And in Brazil/South America it’s the other way around, the biggest Volkswagen over there, the Meteor, is a previous gen MAN TGX (their top model).
The VW in the photo (is it a Caravelle?) has very similar proportions and “stance” to a Chevy Astro van, the face lifted 1995+ version.
Transporter T6 for sure, possibly a Multivan.
