We had guesses of Ford and guesses of 1967, but none actually put the two together (or used the word Mustang), so no winner this time. What? We didn’t announce that the Mustang clue carried a $10,000 prize? My bad. Maybe we will offer it again some time. Just not on this one. But prize or not, let the competition begin.

Not sure of the vehicle, but definitely looks like GM’s bordeaux red.
Buick Roadmaster (B-body version)? Or maybe a Century. The color makes me think Buick, though.
Sunfire coupe?
Hmm. Last-gen Buick Skylark?
Cancel that…I’m almost certain this is a last-gen Riviera. My great-aunt had planned on buying one last Buick in 1995, and I studied the sales brochures for hours…she ended up with a ’95 LeSabre Custom, which threw a rod at 83K and was replaced with the ’04 Outback Limited she has today.
I can’t tell what car it is, but what I CAN tell is that either the photo is dusty (film) or the car’s dusty. 🙂
Or maybe there’s a fairy nearby busily sprinkling her dust? 🙂
I thought it was a ’95-’99 Riv, too, but that glass detail doesn’t seem right. I’m stumped. Ok another wild guess, 1995 Chevy Lumina, but that’s hardly a curbside classic — at least not quite yet.
Where is this on the ’89 Reatta? I don’t see the photo this clue came from and can’t figure out where on the car it turns out to be. Thanks!
It was one of my photos of a totally different car that was too big to process. The software kept spitting it out and I had to make do with another one. Its the drivers side backlight where it meets the deck. I have had a devil of a time with my new camera lately. I’ll eventually figure it out.
Good catch.
Thanks Jeff. Photo software can be infuriating at times.
this car is a lot older than 1990’s…this isn’t a Buick Reatta which has flush mounted rear window glass! I remember seeing that rear window molding and thinking ‘how odd there is no chrome strip in it’… its so thick. So I have seen this car (or one like it) before. I am thinking its European coupe from late 40’s through the 50’s… a Daimler or Jag four door or some ‘weird’ American chrome-less car from the 50’s, Like a Nash. I’ve been searching for it for a while now… but I am giving up!
I agree that this really doesn’t look like a Reatta rear glass. The way the glass seems to be separated (further out) from the body looks exceedingly strange. It almost looks like glass that isn’t mounted and is just leaning against a body surface.
