It’s kind of hard not to know the face of an icon, and Phillip was first out of the gate with the winning answer. Now if he could get these curves on a box, I’ll personally hand over my prize at the bottom of the cracker jack box.

1980-83 Continental Mark VI or 1980-84 Continental/Town Car/Town Coupe.
Early-mid 90s Ford F-150?

`77-`80 Ford Bronco
Square Panther Town Car or a Cutlass Ciera
From the pinstripes, I’d say it’s the Square Panther Town Car. I don’t think the relationship of pinstripe to wheel arch is right for the Ciera, but I may be wrong.
Today is the final day of Panther production, so that’s an additional factor in choice of topic here.
BTW I was out at a school today (on District business) and when I left for lunch I was driving down a little two lane country road (school was on the outskirts of the city) and got behind a truck hauling a “pre-Panther” 1975-1979 Continental Town Car on a trailer. It was white, the windows were darkly tinted, there was very little rust (this is the desert Southwest) and all the trim pieces appeared to be present (a hubcap or two was missing, NBD). The road forked and I took the one toward the city while they took the one toward the “metal recycling center.” I won’t lie, I teared up. To add insult to injury it wasn’t even being towed by a Ford truck.
I’m sorry you had to see that. I thought those cars were monstrosities when they were new (I was a kid, and those were “old man cars”), but I wouldn’t mind having one now, even with the prodigious fuel consumption. Of course that assumes I can find a parking spot for it.
Dan, I am reminded of the time when I saw the hacked-up remains of my own old 1948 Ford 2-door sedan on the way to the steelyard in Tacoma. I recognized the red primer spot beside the rear window. Talked to the guy and found out that he’d bought it for the engine, it had still had the 283-cubic-inch flathead I’d had built. Talk about feeling out of it, and sad that I hadn’t kept it….
1975 Ford Granada
I’m thinking first gen panther Town Car as well.
yeah that’s a box town car
