It’s no secret; today’s CC was to be the Karmann Ghia. But once again, I’ve fallen into a historical rabbit hole (naked booth babes included), so it will be a day late, but worth it, hopefully. In the meantime, here’s someone’s take on a long-tail version of the classic Ghia.

Holy Cow, what did they do to Cadzilla? 😛 http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&hl=en&source=hp&biw=1366&bih=626&q=cadzilla&gbv=2&oq=Cadzi&aq=0&aqi=g3g-S4g-sS1g-S2&aql=&gs_sm=c&gs_upl=1047l2158l0l4083l5l5l0l0l0l0l266l986l0.2.3l5l0&safe=active Sorry I didn’t “tiny url” it, I’m lazy today.
At least from that angle it just looks like someone put an elongated rear on a Karmann Ghia.
Not a good look. Is a straight eight hanging off that fanny tranny?
PS: Title typo: Karman
I loved the original but do not like this one. Form over function it would appear and very prone to get dents in the kroger parking lot.
Nosir, I don’t like it.
still….interesting.
Heres a real one…(Hard to beat those Italians when it comes to 50/60s auto styling). For a little history (and more photos) check it out at http://www.karmannghia.com
