I have a 1980 issue of Sports Car Graphic with this same car. Only in their test, it was called the 3000S.
My son is studying Russian. The car pictured in his textbook to illustrate the Russian word for car is a TVR.
Interesting you mentioned this; the last but one owner of TVR was the so called “baby oligarch” Nikolay Smolensky who managed to almost kill the company – perhaps the editors of the textbook saw a TVR in some Russian car show…
