This was the first car learn to drive on a 9 with a phone book to see over the wheel lol in an empty parking lot after church on Sunday as the seat did move close enough lol we had the HT version ( no post ) with the F head engine many many years later we got the 2dr sedan version with a flat 6 with overdrive we learned why we got it so cheap as with this engine you basically had to lift or remove to do a valve job ! I remember helping my father do it on the F head engine as it need a head gasket he like it as it had a smooth ride for a small car at that time
It was reported that one reason Kaiser bought Willys-Overland was to get the Aero, since it was a much better design than the J. By the time the development of the 1955 models came about, Kaiser-Willys had dropped the Henry J and the Kaiser. The only money spent was the styling changes for the 1955 Willys Aero, and a few minor mechanical changes.
Would be interesting to learn the details of this scene. Looks like a 1954 Aero Ace on the left, and a 1952 Aero Wing on the right

Commas and Periods my good man!
Looks like a “trimmed out” and a “basic” model hanging out together..
Awesome.
Was looking for my Feb ’90 Collectible Automobile ’52-’55 Willys feature (Langworth) but dang, I don’t have that one.
There was a good John North Willys bio in Dec 2015, though.
I liked the Aero. There was one in my neighborhood years ago. Probably a better car than the Henry J.
