Andre Roy got Buick and Park Avenue on the first guess and Tim B followed up with the correct year right after. For this one I thought we’d try an interior clue.
British, a car exported and needing left and right hand drive models. That vent would be where the steering column goes on the home market right hand drive models.
There, now I would hope that those clues give someone else enough to get it right.
As my son’s ’84 Mustang L has a dash that exact shade of beige, with the darker brown sort of slopped on the upper surfaces just like this one, I’m going to say this is a mid-80s Ford product… that’s as far as I can go, though.
I agree that’s too easy. But, with all due respect, you all got it wrong. It’s actually a 1961 Rambler Ambassador with the optional, dashboard-mounted hair dryer option.

From memory I think it might be the Daytona-lookalike Rover SD1.

Yep, Rover SD1 for sure
Rover 3500
I agree, Rover 3500…
Rover SD1, absolutely
Rover 3500, left hand drive.
Now this is an odd one, where would you find an SD1?
Oo oo, A pre-facelift SD1 Rover! Is it the one in that field with the MkII Zephyr recently covered here on CC?
+1 on both the SD1, and “storage field classic”
This was much too easy.

My guess is 1987 ISH Pontiac Grand Prix
Absolutely right, Rover 3500 V8, the car seeing which in person

left a very mixed impression on me, not the least part due to this weird dashboard
